I got together with Jeremy and Terra to get some engagement shots.  They are getting married in October and want me to shoot their wedding and I can't wait!! 

I'm always nervous when I don't know the couple but they made me feel like I had known them for a long time.  We went to the place where they are getting married and then went to the creek...man, did that feel good.  After a hot morning of shooting then to step into that COLD water was amazing.  No wonder they love it so much. 

Jeremy and Terra...thanks so much for being up for anything I asked.  Danielle and I had so much fun getting to know you both and we will see you in October.

Heather and Chad have been dating for four years, engaged for three and a half years, and they are getting married in July.  They are a sweet couple that love each other dearly.  I can tell they are crazy about each other.   

Chad is a little shy but I think he warmed up and he did such a good job with Heather taking the pictures.  Heather, I think, was having a good time.  What a smile she has!!  Chad really had a good time when I started taking pictures of them with his boat.  He LOVES his boat!!

I found out after I took the pictures that Chad likes "colored" pictures and only ones that are hortizontal and vertical.  OOPS!!  Wish I would have known that before.  ;-)   Maybe I didn't ask enough questions.  Lesson learned!!  Anyway, I'm happy with the ones that I did get.  So these will be some of my favorites.

Thanks Heather and Chad for spending the afternoon with me.  It was fun.  I wish you much happiness.

I asked Troy if he could pick up Angie and I think his response was, "I think I can."  He did so I got a couple of shots.  His face is so funny to me.  After he put Angie down she told him that he needed to start working out!  Hilarious!

   

After a few minutes I heard her said to Troy, "jump on my back!"  He did.  I think she is the stronger of the two.  No strain whatsoever on her part. I could hardly take the picture from me laughing so hard.

Angie called me a few weeks back and asked me a very serious question...she said, "will you shoot my wedding in April?"  Of course my first thought was yikes!!  I tried to tell her what kind of photographer I am not..the three P's...not too posed, not a perfectionist, and not a professional. She had gotten my name from the lovely Jessica, who I have shot before, and she wanted me to do her pics for the wedding.  I told Angie that she needed to go to my blog and look that I just might not be what she is looking for.  Really...I tried to let her down easy.  I'm not the type of person that is like..."pick me, choose me, love me"....oh sorry, wrong story...flashback to Grey's Anatomy.  Anyway....

So the next morning I called her and asked her if she had engagement pictures done yet and she told me she had not.  We set up an appointment then to meet this past Saturday.  I called Cathy to see if she wanted to come shoot with me.  As usual my friend was ready to go and have some fun.  We met Angie and Troy, shook hands, talked a little, and then got to shooting. 

I have to say this couple is madly in love..they had fun with each other...and talked the whole time during the shoot.  They got so comfortable with us I don't think they even remembered we were there.  They were so much fun and so sweet.  Cathy and I both fell in love with them.
